Agency for Promotion of Indigenous Crafts (APIC) will be organizing the first ever “Buyer – Seller Meet of Arts and Crafts of Bhutanese Origin” on 6th March, 2013, at the RSPN Conference Hall with the following objectives:
- To create direct link between the artisans with potential vendors.
- To foster fast and reliable processes between artisans and buyers.
- To enhance the interpersonal relationship in the crafts sector.
- To open up market channel for rural artisans.
Artisans of both genders from across the country, craft vendors and high end hotels in Thimphu will be participating in the meet. It is expected that such events would help artisans especially from the rural areas to tie up with vendors and purchasers which will in turn help in improving their livelihood.
